BASTROP STATE PARK: LOST PINES

Home to the famous “Lost Pines,” Bastrop State Park is one of the region’s premier destinations. Covering nearly 6,000 total acres, visitors can spend an afternoon exploring the famous loblolly pine trees. The park also provides opportunities for backpacking, picnicking, canoeing, swimming, golfing, wildlife viewing, or hiking. 

FISHING

There are numerous fishing opportunities within minutes of Cedar Valley RV Park. The Colorado river offers boating and bank fishing. On Lake Bastrop, South Shore Park offers a variety of outdoor activities. This 900-acre lake contains bass, crappie, perch and catfish. Anglers can ... drop a line from the park's fishing pier or head out on a boat from the park's ramp.
